Dubatt Battery Recycling LLC, a leading player in the sustainable recycling of batteries, welcomed an esteemed delegation led by H.E. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT), to its state-of-the-art recycling facility. The visit marks a significant acknowledgment of Dubatt's efforts to drive eco-friendly battery recycling and advance the circular economy in the UAE.

The delegates were received by Mr. Saud Al Shawareb - Executive Vice President for Dubai Industrial City, Mr. Shamsudheen Binmohideen – Chairman Dubatt and Mr. Hasique Pandikadavath – CEO & MD Dubatt Battery Recycling. During the tour, the delegation explored Dubatt's state of the art facility, which utilizes advanced Italian technology to recycle used batteries, convert scrap into lead metal, and promote sustainable battery manufacturing. The delegation expressed appreciation for Dubatt's leadership in promoting sustainable practices, reinforcing the UAE’s commitment to environmental responsibility and circular economic principles.

Promoting Sustainability through Innovation Dubatt Battery Recycling is committed to reducing environmental impacts by efficiently recycling scrap batteries and extracting valuable raw materials, such as refined lead metal and plastic chips for reuse in new battery production. This closed-loop system significantly reduces waste and energy consumption while enhancing the lifespan of critical resources.
